Geopolitical Conflict SIM, 14-15 Dec '24

Description:
This simulation is a laboratory that models a complex geoploitical conflict, with economic, social and military aspects. Forty participants will act as key figures in their respective countries and international organizations. They try to achieve conflicting personal and collective goals, while facing the realities of an escalating and unpredictable conflict. Complex negotiations, power struggle, alliance building an is shaping the actual scenario of the SIM, providing insights on possible patterns in real-world conflict dynamic .

The Race for AGI, 1-2 March '25

Description:
AI is already transforming our life at unprecedented pace, boosting financial markets, creating enormous opportunities but also raising anxiety. The Race For AGI is an immersive experiment where 40 participants dive into the fierce race of global tech giants and startups, aiming to achieve the AGI (the AI as capable, as humans across most common activities). The battles for talent, computing capacity, money, markets, and political power are all intertwined in the global race for AGI.

Our Small Planet: Energy and Climate Challenge

Description:
Climate change is migrating fast from abstract academic discourse to a nasty reality, affecting lives of people across the globe. The challenge is global, though countries act individually, balancing their short-term interests with the much longer-term global challenge of climate change. This simulation is designed to incorporate the main dilemmas and choices of the global energy transit to sustainable energy. Participants will play next three decades, and see the impact of their decisions on the liveability of our planet by end of the current century.

Thucydides Trap: The Global Leadership Challenge

Description:
Today the contest between US and China for global leadership is becoming one of the main factors of global geopolitics. ‘Thucydides’ Trap’*(coined by Graham Alison in 2012) refers to the natural tendency to escalation of tensions and a violent clash between the two leading global powers, when the rising power threatens to displace the ruling power. Allison claimed, that among 16 similar historical instances, 12 ended in war. The simulation is designed to explore global dynamics and patterns of the current global competition.

Program design and main formats

Short forms

From one hour to half day. A typical program includes: introduction of concepts; interactive exercise engagement; reflections; landing concepts and experiences to practice cases. We pick up exercises from our collection of best b-school simulations as well as our own immersive exercises.

One or two day programmes

Skill development modules or Strategic sessions. A typical program includes: warm up interactive exercise; expanding context: concepts, frames and cases from practice; one of our immersive MetaGame exercises; extensive personal and group debriefing; applying concepts and experiences to practice: strategic discussions and group work, generating action plans.
